Haints and Boogers was a howling success!
We had over a hundred in attendance. Thank you to everyone who came and contributed.
Special thanks to Lelia Heinbach for her spook-tacular decorations, and to the library staff and Tutoring Center for preparing the terrifying treats.

- It’s getting full!
- We turned off the lights to add to the spookiness.
- The library Director welcomed everyone to the program.
- He opened with a few local ghost stories.
- Then each of the librarians shared a few stories of their own. Mrs. Hipps had a few spooky tales from Kelly Gap and Bald Mountain.
- Ms. Parker shared some creepy stories from Mosheim..
- Mr. Tunstall a few stories to share, including one about a spoon-thieving ghost.
- Mrs. Johnson related a gruesome tale from her hometown.
- And Ms. Heinbach had a chilling tale about a house she grew up in.
- Mr. Smith then told some ghost stories on various locations around campus.
- And ended with the tale of Elmer, our library Gremlin.
- Refreshments were served in Library room 206.
- Mr. Smith tested the food for safety, of course.
- Ms. Parker and Mrs. Johnson had punch duty.
- Everyone loved the gruesome delights.
