2016 Coloring Contest

Contest Announcement 2016- non featured image

Throughout the Block 8, the library has had a coloring station set for all to enjoy. Many of you came through and colored to your hearts content. During this time the library held a coloring contest for those who wished to enter. We had several entries to the contest, but there was only one winner. We would like to thank Professor Bodary for being our judge for the contest. Congratulations to the winner and honorable mentions!

Haints and Boogers- 2015

A “roaring” success!!!

We had over 100 in attendance and at least that many to stay for refreshments. Thank you to everyone who came and enjoyed our stories and food.

Thank you to all who contributed to the “spooktacular” evening, from the decorations done by Lelia Heinbach, to the stories told by Kathy Hipps, Carolyn Parker, Charles Tunstall and Meagan Stark. And a special thanks to former Library Director Jack Smith for joining us once more for spooky tales of East Tennessee.

Please enjoy these pictures from this year’s event. Until next year, remember “Life’s no fun without a good scare”.
