ARTstor documents artistic and historical traditions across many time periods and cultures and is focused primarily on the arts. ARTstor is also a great resource for students, faculty and researchers in other fields. Most of the collection has been derived through collaborations with libraries, museums, photographic archives, publishers, slide libraries and individual scholars. Sources include: The Image Gallery, The Carnegie Arts of the United States, American Folk Art Museum, The Huntington Archive of Asian Art, The Illustrated Bartsch, The Mellon International Dunhuang Archive, and The Museum of Modern Art Architecture and Design Collection.
