This is an excellent and current resource for government information from around the world.   It provides political, economic and social information and is used  by U.S. Diplomats and government officials.

Internet Websites

USA.Gov (  Use the A-Z Links to federal agencies that deal with international business and relations. Examples:   the U.S. Department of State (aka the State Department) provides a link to information about travel and business in a variety of countries including travel warnings.   More links can be found through the State Dept. to the Bureau of Consular Affairs which offers travel information related to required travel documents, travel tips,  inter-country adoption,  etc.
